I'm Colleen King, an instructional designer dedicated to creating impactful learning experiences that empower and inspire. In my brand, you'll notice a rabbit—a symbol of curiosity, agility, and growth. Like the rabbit, I approach instructional design with a nimble mindset, adapting quickly to meet the unique needs of learners.

I use the ADDIE model to help my clients “leap” into new skills and accomplishments by: 

🐰 Assessing Needs: I start by identifying learning gaps to ensure the training addresses the right challenges, much like how a rabbit quickly evaluates its surroundings.
🐰 Mapping the Journey: Using an action map, I define the end goal, desired behavior changes, and the necessary practice activities to achieve them, ensuring a clear and efficient path forward.
🐰 Planning the Path: I develop a structured plan and select the most effective learning modality, making sure the journey is purposeful and smooth.
🐰 Designing the Experience: I craft learner-centered experiences that align with the objectives, drawing on adult learning theories to enhance retention and real-world application—empowering learners to move forward like a rabbit in its element.
🐰 Engaging Creatively: I love finding innovative ways to bring learning to life, increase engagement, and meet both learner and client needs, just as the rabbit finds creative ways to navigate its world.
